This explains what Hubbub collects, who can see it, and how you can remove it.
What we collect
Your email and password (the password is stored in scrambled form, so we cannot read it), your name, and anything you add to your profile. If you add a phone number, it is private and only you can see it. We also store the events and groups you post, your RSVPs, offers to help, sponsor offers, saved events, and reports or blocks you make. If you RSVP as a guest, we store the name you type.
What other people can see
Your name, headline, interests and the events and groups you host are public. RSVP counts are public. Offers to help are visible to you and the host. Sponsor offers are visible to the sponsor and the host. Your email, phone and blocked list are never shown to other users.
Who handles the data
Hubbub runs on Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting). They process data for us to run the service. We do not sell your data and we do not run ads or third-party advertising trackers. Hubbub stores a sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from the Account page. That permanently removes your account, profile, groups, events and RSVPs. Guest RSVP names are removed when the event is removed, or you can ask us to delete yours.
Age
Hubbub is for people 18 and older.
